YouTube will be debuting a new live show at the 8th annual VidCon this year, dubbed ‘YouTube OnStage.’
The 90-minute show will be headlined by mainstream musician Jason Derulo, and will take place in the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. It will also feature performances by Broadway star Todrick Hall and America’s Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal.
YouTube creators, of course, will make appearances as well – including Tyler Oakley, Rosanna Pansino, Collins Key, Joey Graceffa, and many others. The show is expected to be similar to YouTube’s previous FanFest shows, which have taken place all around the globe.
YouTube OnStage is free to attend for anyone that has a VidCon pass, but admission is capped to 4,000, much less than the 26,000+ total attendees of VidCon in 2016. Ticketholders can enter a lottery for admission before June 2 for their chance at attending. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 21, one day before the three-day conference kicks off.
YouTube will return as VidCon’s title sponsor once again, and is expected to give another keynote presentation to members of the digital media industry.
