Jason who is also known as either Urgo or FirstDigg has been fiddling around with computers since before he even knew how to read, which is saying something for someone who grew up before computers were a household necessity and the Internet was not considered a basic human right like it is today, let alone even accessible to the public.  Jason loves to try out new products and services and is usually among the first to sign up to test out beta products, though if he does not like them he’s not afraid to say so.

In the Social Media sphere Jason has had accounts on sites like Twitter, Digg, and Facebook long before they were even well known or popular and as a result has seen them go through a lot of changes.  Jason does not consider himself as a ‘Social Media Expert”  for he feels that the term is thrown around too loosely, he considers himself more of a user & developer. In 2008,  Jason originally created Social Blade, a website that analyzes Digg and attempted to try and crack the algorithm just for fun.

On the Social Blade Show Jason not only acts as a co-host but is responsible for many of the technical aspects that happen behind the scenes from hosting the website itself to providing you with the multi-videos that you see on the screen and various other behind the scenes activities that are a necessity to bring you the Social Blade Show every week. He is also responsible for editing and posting the recorded version of our live shows to YouTube.

Jason is currently working as a Developer and in his spare time he can be found working on or at various other sites around the web including but not limited to:
