Facebook has been innovative with inventing new ways of communicating, however in some situations it can become annoying, and a down right overload of communication. Being social is encouraged and sharing information with the latest Facebook Group chats can be helpful.
But with the various group chats that you can be added to, you are almost bombarded with what is happening in them. Some you may opt to leave and others you may want to stay informed about, but not to the point of them exploding all over your various forms of interactions, one especially being e-mail.
Since you already receive notifications and can check out what is happening within each group chat by visiting them, you most likely don’t need to also have the information sent to your e-mail, especially since deleting e-mails is not a joyous time well spent.
Here are 3 quick and easy ways to remove notifications via e-mail from ALL of the group chats you have created or have been added to, this way you can save on wasted time and spend more time on being social.
1. Go to the left-hand side of your Facebook Homepage and look for groups. You will than want to click on “See All”
2. Once you have clicked “See All” you will be able to view all groups you have created or have been added to, from there you will want to scroll down to “Edit E-mail Settings”
3. Choose from the pop-up box which Facebook group chats you do not want to receive e-mail notifications from by un-checking the box beside each group. If you are added to a new group or create a new group you will need to follow these steps again.
