It has been less than 36 hours since Digg V4 launched and there is flurry of positive and negative sentiment polarizing the community. This was to be expected, as any major change will polarize a site’s community. What makes this particular change important is that it’s the type of polarization that can yield irreversible bad consequences once the “real” problems pop up. We’ll discuss those tonight during the show, but there are definitely weird things happening.

Case in point:

Tonight, we will be discussing the new Digg and going over a few points that haven’t really been discussed – what happens in the near and distant future of Digg? Join us tonight at 6pm Pacific prior to The Social Blade Show. We will go over some details with the crew as well as those who come to the show. Afterwards, we will update this post with the video and some of the findings.
