The tweet that started a $50,000 lawsuit
A twitter used by the name of @abonnen (account since deleted) sent out the following tweet in May to her 20 followers (less if you count how many actually saw it since they’d have to also be following @JessB123 (account also deleted)). As a result Horizon Group Management filed a $50,000 defamation lawsuit against her. Were they right in doing so? Did they overreact? Where do you draw the line?
