Digg's Algorithm Cracked!
Your personalized formula to Digg's front page can be found here.

SocialBlade has been collecting data from Digg for over a year now, and
as a result, we have deciphered the digg algorithm! If you follow these
easy steps your submission is guaranteed to hit!

Type in just the domain name of the site you are interested in:
1. Submitter
Financialhwy
Financialhwy

Certain Submitters have more power then others, mostly because they have nothing else better to do and digg all day and as a result know the ins and outs of the system. SocialBlade has determined this submitter is ideal for your site.
2. Time of Day
clock
Submit @ 12pm-3pm EST

Certain times of the day are better, but the exact time of day is different for each site. It really depends on the target audience. If you submit your story sometime in this range you will be golden! Submit it before or after, no promises!
3. Thresholds
clock
Diggs to Front Page: 96
Diggs From Friends: 57 (59%)
This is your magic number of diggs you need to reach the front page. Until you get 57 diggs from friends go crazy and share the story with them via shouts or wherever, but once you get 57 diggs from friends stop! Anything more then that will hurt rather then help.
4. Pop Time
clock
Wait Time: 15 hours and 08 minutes
Estimated Pop Time: 12pm-3pm

Assuming you took the advice earlier, and got the word out about your site, about 15 hours and 08 minutes after you submit it you should be doing the front page dance! Check out SocialBlade's main page to see that these stats matched your submission.

Update: While this was an April Fools' joke, actually much of the information here is correct. Basically unless you pick a domain that has not hit digg since Feb 2008, or the user who had the most success submitting it has been banned, the stats given are averages of the data collected from when they did hit. The algorithm has not been cracked, but this should give you some nice data to look at. =] For more April Fools' Day jokes visit AprilFoolsDayOnTheWeb.com
